Its patented Part-to-Build workflow was developed to change the prevailing 3D- printing paradigm from the preparation of rapid prototypes to industrialisation, with a true CAM experience that includes build-preparation steps and the programming tools for post-processing printed parts with wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) and milling machine tools. The Part-to-Build workflow addresses part preparation and job preparation with dedicated functionality within one piece of software.

product complexity, electrification, connectivity, sustainability and new mobility services – require accelerating the interconnection of different functions and expertise within an agile and collaborative ecosystem. The automotive company will therefore deploy its use of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform globally to more than 20,000 employees in vehicle development functions such as design, product engineering, industrial process engineering, parts and materials purchasing, costing and quality. Connected to the cloud, the platform will provide access to the same systems and software, 3D modelling and simulations, updated in real time across the world. The large-scale collaboration based on virtual twins will improve data sharing between the different functions and agility within the company, while reducing costs and vehicle development time by around one year. Renault Group will benefit from continuous technological evolutions and functional enrichment of the collaborative 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud. Renault Group is relying on four Dassault Systèmes industry solution experiences based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud: ‘On-Target Vehicle Launch’, ‘Smart, Safe & Connected’, ‘Global Modular Architecture’ and ‘Efficient Multi-Energy Platform’.

advantage of all the features and upgrades including: • Parts Insight Experience, which proactively provides supply chain

intelligence directly within the design experience • Advanced board design capabilities that allow designers to easily create

complex designs and quickly prepare them for fabrication • Enhanced SPICE simulation tools enabled with Monte Carlo analysis to

measure circuit quality with ease • Real-time lifecycle management with Altium 365 that enables you to

work from anywhere and with anyone. Parts Insights Experience delivers real-time supply chain intelligence

directly in the design environment so that information about component specs, lifecycle and availability is always there. Supply information, fueled by powerful BOM tools and integrations from Octopart and IHS Markit databases, aggregates data from over 300 distributors and over one billion parts, providing engineers access to the best available components and avoiding designs with unavailable or obsolete parts. This means engineers are working with a healthy BOM throughout their design process. It also suggests alternative solutions to ensure parts are available. Engineers can easily create complex designs and quickly prepare them for

fabrication using Altium Designer 22’s advanced design capabilities, including: PCB technology awareness modelling; Enhanced intelligent routing; Improved solder paste specifications; and Circuit sensitivity analysis. The new release coincides with the launch of Altimade, a new Altium 365

application that significantly streamlines the printed circuit board design-to- manufacturing workflow.
