     The new circular gas strut bracket


enables installation in space-restricted areas, making them ideal for use in applications including automotive, industrial machinery, trunks, toolboxes and furniture. Designed to suit 10mm angle joint balls and 4mm screws, these have countersunk screw holes and the bracket is supplied in zinc-plated steel, giving durability and resistance to corrosion. WDS’ full range of gas strut mounting


brackets with a ball fitting stud also includes flat mounting angle, folded internal facing mount, and external facing folded mount designs, available with 10mm or 13mm ball fittings. Fittings manufactured from 316 stainless steel are also available for extended durability and corrosion resistance. Also available are clevis fork brackets, enabling gas struts to connect, push or hold a load with a clevis fitting, typically used for a stronger linkage. This makes them ideal for applications in automation, agriculture, construction, and material handling systems. Available in two sizes, there are 54 types of brackets, covering a wide range of fixing mechanisms, offering different levels of security and ease of connection. Zinc-plated steel construction enhances resistance to corrosion. The new brackets and


eyelets are available individually or can be supplied with WDS’ wide range of gas struts. These are available with adjustable force.


 




    This certification marks a significant


step forward in transitioning towards a low-carbon economy. To achieve it, several members of the MSP team underwent Carbon Literacy training. Neil Matthews, managing director,


said: “As a team, we are delighted to have received this award. It is a huge recognition of MSP’s continued efforts to become more sustainable and help drive the manufacturing industry towards the UK’s Net Zero targets.” MSP’s participation in the Carbon Literacy Project, which


has certified over 65,000 learners from more than 4,000 organisations since 2012, showcases the company’s dedication to combating climate change. Collectively, these organisations have taken more than 130,000 actions to combat climate change


– resulting in savings of more than 230,000 tonnes of CO2e. “At MSP, we believe in leading by example,” continued


Matthews. “With the knowledge and tools we gained from this training, we are able to proactively work towards more ambitious sustainability initiatives that will benefit our community and the environment, and enable us to steadily progress towards Net Zero targets.”
