EDITOR’S COMMENT & CONTENTS Spotlight on low carbon solutions

O

n November 28, the Building Services Forum will continue on its path to showcase solutions to achieve carbon reduction and

boost efforts to meet Net Zero targets. The forum will be held at the Building Centre in London with a theme centering around low carbon heating and cooling technolgy. Don’t forget to get your tickets at https://bseeforum.co.uk/book-tickets/ To complement this central theme, this issue of BSEE focuses on bringing energy costs into check. To start with we have general overview from Kimble Solar of why businesses should be considering solar for optimal carbon reduction. And in keeping with the solar theme, Aztec Solar explains how to get photovoltaic specification and installation right for now and the long term. See pages 18 & 23.

Finally, Build Test Solutions explains how

measurement can be key to installing the right low carbon heating solution, on pg 20. In addition, on pg 6, Inergy Group delves into the

energy saving benefits of evaporative cooling as opposed to traditional air conditioning systems in large commercial and industrial buildings; while on pg 9 heating and cooling innovator Phononic looks at the implications and opportunities for contractors as the global HVAC industry shifts to sustainable technology. Other features this month include:

• Data Management, Communications & Security
