and around its paint shop, and to raise visual/audible alarms when potentially dangerous conditions arise. Bespoke monitoring and alarm systems were therefore developed by Ashtead Technology. With remote communication combined with the ability to measure all of the key dust fractions simultaneously, the TSI DustTrak Environmental 8543 MCERTS Outdoor Dust & Aerosol Monitors (TSI DTE) were chosen. By continuously monitoring total PM, PM10, PM2.5 and PM1, these instruments provide a complete picture of the particulate levels that

monitor particulate levels and transmit data to a cloudbased system which can be accessed via PC or mobile APP. This provides an opportunity to view secure monitoring data 24/7 from any location, which means that staff will be able to correlate process conditions with aerosol levels so that opportunities for operational improvements can be identified. collaborating with different partners to provide their expertise, in order to ensure the best outcome. Grundfos Pumps were delighted to work with RSP Consulting Engineers and contractors Livingston Mechanical Services, on this latest project, to provide the optimal M&E solution. The pump solutions were chosen for their energy

efficiency and their ability to deliver the required HVAC needs, as well as ensuring there is sufficient water to meet all the various demands. The final Grundfos solutions team included players drawn from the TPE family of singlestage centrifugal pumps, as well as from MAGNA3 commercial heating circulators, plus a variable speed Hydro MPCE booster set. Today this club lives up to its name as it plays a

pivotal role at the very heart of a vibrant community. Grundfos are delighted to have been selected as part of the support network. For additional information and to learn more about us, please visit:

Riello’s premix burners now up to 3MW

NOx levels of less than 40mg/kWh, with high turndown ratios of up to 8:1, across a wide range of models. Riello RX burners feature an

exclusive design that includes a patented woven wire gauze ‘sock’ covering the combustion head cylinder. Gas and combustion air are mixed upstream of the combustion head and then pass through precisionlocated ports and the gauze ‘sock’ to ignite on the external surface of the combustion head. This arrangement enables a very compact flame with a diameter directly related to the burner firing rate, ensuring precise heat control and optimum efficiency at all loads.

The high turndown makes RX

burners ideal for systems with variable heat loads where low NOx levels are also required. These range from condensing

boilers through to process applications such as spray booths and industrial ovens. RX burners can be used in

conjunction with variable speed drive motors to reduce electricity consumption and lower noise levels even further than the typical 30% noise reduction compared to many other combustion applications. Control options include progressive two stage operation and fully modulating via 010V or 420 mA. Full electronic control with operational and diagnostic display is also available.

www.espuk.com T Grundfos have the offsite insight

he ability for offsite build to deliver increasingly complex projects for a wide range of schemes has seen them

become increasingly popular. These pre engineered solutions tick all the boxes in terms of the coordination of a range of elements from planning and design, through to fabrication, the actual assembly of components, plus all required testing. Able to deliver larger building projects,

industrial solutions as well as to support the water industry, these packaged sets will arrive on site complete with all the necessary pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation and controls. Add to this the fact that factory conditions are 80% safer than those on site and that site labour is 2.2 times more expensive and the reasons for their popularity come sharply into focus. Selecting a partner who has the capacity, knowledge, expertise as well as all the necessary accreditations to deliver all the stages within the process is key. This is where the 12,000m2 Grundfos manufacturing plant in Sunderland adds value, as this recognised centre of manufacturing excellence offers customers design, build, assembly, test and distribution from under one roof, making this a streamlined and very costeffective option. The first LEDPRO products from Timeguard introduced the idea of modular systems: a choice of mix andmatch black or white slimline floodlights (from 10W right up to 100W) and switches (PIR, photocell or remotecontrol RF). Choose the right combination, and just plug them together. It becomes easy to create a whole lighting scene, adding as many slave floodlights as you need up to a total of 140W (LED).
