uceco and energy partner Multimission Technical Services have recently supplied LED luminaires to the Streit Group, one of the world's leading armoured vehicles manufacturers based in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone in the UAE.
The already impressive plant will see seven additional dedicated new buildings housing robotic steel assembly, fabrication and laser cutting facility, extra production lines
and finished product storage. Luceco provided the lighting designs to ensure the latest LED luminaire technology was employed to illuminate office space, customer experience centre, showrooms, R&D suites, as well as the new production facilities.
Eris High Bays were used in the main plant areas, and Guardian Pro for external lighting. Eris is a modern and slim IP65 rated luminaire with a die-cast aluminium body and polycarbonate lens optic for optimum performance.

Guardian Pro is a commercial grade floodlight designed to replace HID fittings. Ranging from 50W to 245W, 6800 to 30,000 lumens achieving up to 136 Llm/cW, and offering asymmetric distribution for reduced glare, Guardian Pro features 'fit and tilt' brackets for simple installation with tilt adjustment locks. Lounges were lit with
contemporary LuxFrame luminaires designed for suspended ceiling grids and offices lit with LuxPanels. Meeting rooms were illuminated with linear arrays of Contour luminaires providing seamless runs of cost effective LED lighting and 100,000 hours maintenance free operational
life. Platinum Mini, F-Type and Palladium downlights enhanced the lit environment in showrooms, reception, and gallery, with IP65 rated robust Climate weatherproof fittings and LuxPack battens used in service areas.
The project completion is expected by the end of the year to enable the Streit Group to keep up with demand for their highly sought after vehicles which include Armoured Personnel Carriers, Cash-in-Transit, Luxury and Security vehicles designed to provide effective protection in high-risk situations.
