VEGATRUCK GOES ON TOUR ACROSS THE UK AND IRELAND
he distinctive VEGATRUCK mobile customer training facility returns this October for a four-week Celtic Tour. Travelling through Northern England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Wales and Scotland, it will bring practical, hands-on training in level and pressure instrumentation closer to customers across the regions. Attendance is completely free of charge, with timed tickets booked through Ticket Tailor.
The VEGATRUCK combines an American Kenworth W900 with a specially designed, expanding Formula 1-style trailer. Inside is a 64 m² presentation and training area featuring a mini theatre, working instruments, live application models and interactive technology. Rather than simply hearing about the equipment, visitors can see measurements in action, handle instruments and discuss their own applications directly with VEGA specialists.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON-BOARD:
Expert Guidance: Engage with VEGA’s pressure and level experts who will be on hand to provide in-depth training, demonstrations, and answer any questions about the featured product range.
Product Demonstrations: Experience first- hand the capabilities of VEGA’s cutting-edge products, including the universally adaptable 6X Non-Contact Level radar tailored to your process needs; discover the low-cost, versatile and resilient level sensors for the Water Industry; take a closer look at our comprehensive line of process, hydrostatic, and differential pressure transmitters, and our range of point level detection and radiometric technology. Models cover applications including flow measurement, stormwater overflow basins, bulk solids, and the chemical, petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Wireless IIoT Solutions: Explore VEGA’s battery-powered wireless IIoT radar solutions, offering advanced functionality and ease of integration.
VEGA Inventory System: Learn about VIS - the innovative software designed to streamline inventory management processes.
Sensor setup with VEGA Tools App: Join a live demo showcasing instrument adjustment with Bluetooth communications, compatible with all plics® sensors since 2002. With easy to use graphic visualisation of

OUTSMART DOWNTIME IN THE AI ERA H
ottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) has launched Data Center Availability Intelligence to help data centre owners, developers and operators protect uptime in the high-density AI era. The system helps teams build availability into designs and protect it through planning, validation and operation.
Users can model power, cooling and network architectures before investing, virtually test redundancy and maintenance strategies before launch, then use operational data to identify risks before downtime occurs.
HBK’s Uptime Diagnostic evaluates a critical system, such as power, cooling or design architecture. It quantifies availability and downtime risk, assesses redundancy strategies and clarifies trade-offs between availability, capital expenditure and operating efficiency. “Understanding individual component reliability is no longer enough; we must look at how the entire system performs together,” said Adi Dhora, principal consultant at HBK. “Our system-level
approach moves teams away from reactive troubleshooting, enabling them to optimise capital costs and target maintenance precisely where it prevents downtime.”
The diagnostic model can scale into a live Reliability, Availability And Maintainability (RAM) digital twin. Powered by the ReliaSoft Asset Performance framework, it connects operational data with engineering models to guide investment, spare parts and maintenance decisions.
