extends the company’s recently-introduced JC1200 family by incorporating latching and overpress functionalities and offering multiple mounting solutions in a single body. This makes the new joystick controller ideal for use in
Maximum flexibility with optimized Carton Wheel Flow
I
nterroll’s new Carton Wheel Flow beds are designed for simple installation with dramatically reduced assembly
time. The enhanced Carton Wheel Flow bed frame as fewer
profiles covering all references of beds. Loading/unloading support, side frame and intermediate beam now require only a single profile each. Plastic clips for track fitting are no longer needed. The new loading/unloading support allows a “flush” mounting method in order to easily fix pick-to-light- systems in a “continuous way”, boosting the pick rate per hour. Slope adjustment is easier with all drop out trays (5°, 10° & now 15°) mounted in a single side frame. With fewer parts to fix and clipless mounting,
installation time for the new carton flow system has been reduced by 30 percent on average.

control panels and armrest assemblies found in material handling vehicles, industrial trucks, agricultural equipment and construction machinery, where cost-effective, long-life operator controls are essential. Developed by Curtiss-Wright’s brand family of Penny &
Giles, the JC1210 paddle joystick features an additional 10 degrees of travel at both ends of the axis, which can be specified by machine designers and end users for either latching or overpress functions – or a combination of both – to meet system requirements to hold functions at full speed/float.

SICK Long-Range Distance Sensors Deliver High Performance Laser Measurement S
Curtiss-Wright extends Paddle Joystick family C
urtiss-Wright Industrial division has announced the launch of the JC1210, a single-axis paddle joystick that
ICK has pushed the boundaries of long-range laser sensing with the launch of the DT1000 and DL1000 distance sensors to deliver highly
accurate and consistent results even in the most difficult outdoor and harsh industrial environments. With SICK’s innovative HDDM+ (High Definition Distance Measurement)
technology onboard, users can have confidence in the reliability of the sensor even under adverse conditions such as bright light, bad weather, dust, smoke or mist, which could otherwise obscure or deflect the laser pulses and lead to false signals. The SICK DT1000 and DL1000 achieve best-in-class real-time repeatability and reliability with a measurement range spanning 0.2m to 1500m and
cycling time of less than 1 millisecond. They are versatile performers in a wide range of applications where there is a need to measure the distance to objects that are static or moving in the line of sight of the sensor. They can also be set up to track the movement of an object across the sensor beam.
