ollowing a rigorous 2-day assessment, TC Facilities Management (TCFM) has completed its “Achilles”
annual audit for the fourth consecutive year. The audit saw a score of 100% being awarded in all four
key areas that the audit measures: Corporate Social Responsibility, health and safety, environment, and quality. This 100% achievement validates TCFM’s operational
capability, competence and compliance and follows the recent news that TCFM achieved a clean sweep in passing three external management systems audits including the new ISO 45001:2018 standard. The two-day visit included an audit of both head office
and a client site.
The auditor was particularly impressed by: • The great team effort with the experience welcomed and enjoyed by everyone involved
• The breadth of documentation to evidence the quality management systems in place
• The ongoing commitment to our duty of care of our colleagues by investing in innovative technology
• The design and navigation of the training matrix in use

Sensata’s new range of sensors to support HVAC system design
designers of hydronic HVAC systems to provide the essential pressure and temperature controls for a successful system design. A hydronic HVAC system utilizes water as the primary fluid to transfer energy throughout the building. Water has outstanding heat transfer characteristics; to deliver heat, the system must have a heat source, such as a boiler, and to provide cooling, the system must have a cooling source, such as
N
a chiller or cooling tower. The heated or cooled water is pumped throughout the building to air handling units or terminal units (or other similar), where it transfers energy with air from the ventilation system
before it recirculates to the heating or cooling source. The conditioned air is then delivered to the room. Sensata Technologies

hough the older door was in full working order the client decided to upgrade with a new door in an area
of production that is temperature sensitive. “Dependability and quality of product together with
service support were the essential considerations in this latest order,” says Gordon Kipling, Hart’s Northern Sales Manager. There are now nearly 20 Hart doors on site.
Mr Kipling continues. “With so many Hart products
on site, the service agreement was extended to cover all door types, some 36 doors in total. Regular servicing is essential for door systems that can be active on a 24 hour cycle, seven days a week basis.
“Speedor Storm is a robust and reliable high
speed door system designed for frequent use in high traffic situations where exceptional wind resistance is required. The energy saving potential of this door is particularly high.
“Speedor Storm is used predominately as an
external rolling door with a unique guide system offering wind resistance up to 70 mph when closed, that is class 5 as defined by DIN EN 12424, on larger openings up to 8m x 8m.”
