The latest Mercedes A-Class range is to offer buyers a choice of two powerful new Mercedes-AMG models for the first time this year. Along with the eagerly awaited replacement for the dynamic A45 AMG, a new A35 AMG option has already gone on sale. With 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque on tap, the all-wheel drive A35 AMG 4MATIC will sprint from 0-62 mph in just 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155 mph.


The new model benefits from all the latest technological upgrades to the new A-Class range including the game- changing MBUX multimedia system featuring voice-activation as well as a ra of new safety features. On the road pricing for the A35 AMG 4MATIC starts from £35,580 with a range of equipment and styling packages to allow drivers to tailor the model to their own needs.


This smart forease all-electric show car is merely a concept model but it underlines the future for the smart brand in Europe. Since 2017 all new smarts sold in America, Canada and Norway have been electric models. From 2020, Europe will follow suit, helping to pioneer the move towards entirely battery-electric power for the smart brand.

Both versions feature a comprehensive specification and prices start from £47,700 on the road for the Saloon.
