A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW CONNECTIONS TO GENOCIDE
Palantir Technologies has been supplying artificial intelligence (AI) products and services to the Israeli military and intelligence services and are linked to Israel’s military assaults in Gaza.
The company announced a strategic partnership with the Israeli Defense Ministry that ‘both parties have mutually agreed to harness Palantir’s advanced technology in support of war-related missions.’ The partnership “aims to significantly aid the Israeli Ministry of Defense in addressing the current situation in Israel.”
The contract was signed while Israel was committing genocide in Gaza – a genocide that is ongoing as Israeli forces continue to deliberately create unliveable conditions for Palestinians.
In a 2024 CNBC interview, Palantir’s CEO, Alex Karp, stated they are ‘exceedingly proud’ of their ‘operationally crucial’ work in Gaza.
THE ICE ISSUE
The US authorities are using automated AI- powered surveillance tools to deliberately target non-US citizens amid the country’s ongoing unlawful clampdown on migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
Due to Palantir’s work, ICE can combine data from other government departments, such as the Department for Homeland Security, the FBI, and the Enforcement Integrated Database. The system, referred to as Immigration Lifecycle Operating System (Immigration OS), plays a key role in US authorities’ ability to identify people, as well as their behaviour and movements, more quickly and on a large scale to determine if their visas should be revoked.

In April 2025, ICE awarded Palantir a $30M contract to track “self-deportations” and identify priority deportation cases, particularly visa overstays. The same month, 404 Media reported a leaked Slack (internal) message sent by Palantir’s Chief Technology Officer: “over the last few weeks we prototyped a new set of data integrations and workflows with ICE” and added: “The new administration’s focus on leveraging data to drive enforcement operations has accelerated those efforts.”

“
Israeli forces have killed over 70,000 Palestinians, including doctors and other medics, and systematically destroyed Gaza’s health system. Why on earth should the NHS - which exists to protect life - be using software from a company that is contributing to a genocide?
