FCSI EAME CONFERENCE 2026
LAST BITE Michael Neuner FCSI
MY CONFERENCE MOMENTS
Te managing partner of Neuner and Associates tells Tina Nielsen why the FCSI EAME conferences are important and what he most enjoys about them
My first FCSI EAME conference was in Vienna in 2017. I was a brand new member. I had been introduced to the Society through Frank Wagner FCSI and he encouraged me to come to the conference.
I felt immediately comfortable in the group. People were interested and helpful.
I have attended every conference since then, Rotterdam, Paris, and Zurich.
Te combination of learning and networking in a fun and relaxed spirit makes the conference special. It is a time and place to explore new ideas and get inspired.
One of my favorite moments was at the 2022 conference in Paris where a cook-off was organized between teams. Tat was a great idea.

FCSI is a friendly bunch but it is also one where you have fierce competitors around the table exchanging ideas, and that makes us all stronger.
My number one tip to anyone attending their first conference is to find yourself a chaperone who can guide you through the event a bit and introduce you to people.
Don’t stay too long in the bar. A while is good, but you should know when to leave.
I have made some great friendships through the conferences and some very reliable acquaintances.
