exacting CO2 targets by consistently increasing vehicle effi ciency. T e BMW Group has set itself the goal of cutting life-cycle CO2 emissions per vehicle by at least 40% by 2030 compared to 2019. By 2050 at the latest, the company is aiming for net zero in terms of CO2e emissions throughout the value chain. T e BMW Group continued the ongoing reduction in


its fl eet CO2 emissions across the European car markets in 2023. The company posted a provisional figure of 102.1 grams per kilometre in the WLTP cycle – 20% below the target of 128.5 g/km set by the European Union.
