- DE ONTHULLING VAN “NATURAL H.”
De ritmische klanken van “Oxytocin” galmen door Fatima Hajji’s muzikale reis, een tocht die sonische grenzen overstijgt. Als meester in de studio stort Hajji zich op de creatie van haar debuut-EP, “A Trip of Life,” om daarna direct door te stomen naar de ontwikkeling van haar aankomende release serie “Natural H.”
Onthullend vijf tracks, elk zorgvuldig geproduceert met een strakke releasestrategie. Hajji’s revolutionaire inzicht biedt een strategische aanpak die hand in hand samen gaat met het hedendaagse streamingtijdperk.
“Mijn eerste EP kwam tot stand toen ik mezelf eindelijk meer tijd in de studio gunde dan ooit tevoren. Jaren heb ik keihard gewerkt aan het vinden van mijn gewenste geluid (geloof me, het is een voortdurende saga – hoe dieper je in muziekproductie duikt, hoe meer er te leren valt). Het proces verliep eerst langzaam, mede door het constante gehaast van reizen en optreden. Maar toen ik mezelf echt op die dagelijks tijd in de studio focus- te, ging de vooruitgang sneller dan ik me had kunnen voorstellen. Uiteindelijk, na de juiste productie tools te vinden, toe te passen en voldoening te halen uit het resultaat, werd mijn debuut-EP, “A Trip of Life,” geboren.
Bestaande uit acht tracks, was de beslissing om elke track afzonderlijk uit te brengen – ook al waren ze bedoeld als een album – te danken aan de heden- daagse dominantie van streaming platforms. Op deze manier kon ik de beste exposure van de tracks garan- deren door de releases uit te spreiden. Zodra alle tracks released zijn, krijgt het complete album nog een extra release ronde. Het is een nieuwe aanpak voor de tijd waarin we nu leven.”
“Sindsdien ben ik me meer op mijn gemak gaan voelen en ben zelfverzekerder geworden in m’n productie en eigen geluid. Ik merkte dat m’n tracks veel goede reacties kregen van de clubbers, dus zonder aar- zeling ben ik toen gaan werken aan mijn tweede EP, “Natural H.”

- MUSIC PRODUCTION: UNVEILING “NATURAL H.”
“Oxytocin’s” rhythmic pulse echoes the waveform of Fatima Hajji’s musical journey, a voyage that trans- cends sonic margins. A maestro in the studio, Hajji del- ves into the evolution from her debut EP, “A Trip of Life,” to the forthcoming “Natural H.” series. Unveiling five tracks, each meticulously crafted, the release strategy mirrors the impulse of anticipation—dropping singles every six weeks.
Hajji’s insight reveals a strategic adaptation to the streaming era, maximising exposure while preserving the album’s essence.
“My first EP came to life when I found myself with more time in the studio than ever before. After years of hard work and the eternal quest for my desired sound (trust me, it’s an ongoing saga – the more you dive into mu- sical production, the more there is to learn), the process was slow because of the constant hustle of travelling and gigs. But when I focused solely on the studio time every day, progress was faster than I could have ever imagined. Finally, after hitting the right keys and finding the right production tools I found satisfaction in the re- sult. My debut EP, “A Trip of Life,” was born. Comprising eight tracks, the decision to release each track separa- tely – even though they were conceived as an album – stems from the dominance of streaming platforms. This way, I could ensure the best exposure by spacing out the releases. Once all the tracks are out, the complete album gets another round. It’s a new approach for the times we’re living in right now.
Since then, I began feeling more comfortable and con- fident with the production process and also with my own sound as I saw it had really good responses from the clubbers when I played these new tracks. So wi- thout hesitation, I started to work on my second EP, Natural H., with this new one being composed of 5 trac- ks, and the first one, “Oxitocin,” was already released on December ‘23. The plan is to have the full album re- leased before the summer but until then, the tracks are
