MAU P: ‘A RISING STAR IGNITES ELECTRIC SKIES’

In the pulsating world of electronic music, where every beat feels like an adrenaline rush, there’s a new sensation taking the scene by storm.

Meet Mau P, the prodigious artist whose journey kicked off amidst a backdrop of Jazz and Soul, but whose sound catapults us straight into the heart of the modern electronica wave.

Dive with us into the vibrant narrative of a rising star, where music isn’t just a melody—it’s a lifestyle.

Mau P’s musical journey ignited at a

young age, bathed in the melodies of Jazz and Soul. Growing up surrounded by talented musicians, he embraced a diverse musical landscape that laid the foundation for his future. “Knowing music theory has been so important to me,” Mau P tells us. “I’ve always tried to showcase that side of me in every production that I do.” Yet, he also recognized the importance of breaking free from musical constraints, a revelation that led him to leave music school in Holland. Mau P’s career has been studded with moments that defined not just his journey but also an important segment of the electronic dance music scene. ”To be honest,” he confides, ”every original song and remix that I’ve done this last year was really defining for me.” However, it was his remix for Calvin Harris and more recently, Swedish House Mafia, that truly resonated with his fans. ”They were the reason I started producing Dance music,” he admits.

“Getting asked to do a remix by Calvin Harris and more recently Swedish House Mafia is insane to me, as they were the reason I started producing Dance music in the first place. I’ve always tried to dissect every song that they made, and still reference it for my own music production.”
