As he continues to define his sound within the Afro-House genre, SOR sees himself pushing the boun- daries of what the genre can be.

“I think my music takes House vibes to a different place by blending in unexpected elements and breaking away from traditional structures. I want to push the bounda- ries, not just in terms of beats but in the overall feel and experience of the music. The upcoming tracks explore new textures and sounds while staying true to the es- sence of the genre.”

SOR is determined to evolve both his sound and the genre itself, taking Afro-House to new heights.

Having shared stages with legends like Black Coffee and Blond, SOR has gained invaluable insights from these experiences.

“Playing alongside artists like Black Coffee and Blon- dish has been such an inspiring experience. Seeing how they connect with the crowd and stay true to their sound, no matter where they are, has taught me a lot about being authentic. The biggest lesson has been to connect and stay connected with the crowd—because that’s what resonates most deeply with people.”

These lessons in authenticity and crowd connection have left a lasting impact on SOR’s approach to his craft.

In the ever-evolving electronic music scene, SOR is ex- cited by the cultural influences and new movements that are shaping the genre.

“There’s so much happening in electronic music right now, and I love how different cultures are bringing their influences into the scene. Afro-House is evolving, with artists adding their own unique flavors, and I’m parti- cularly excited about movements blending traditional instruments with modern electronic sounds. There are so many fresh producers bringing new sound coming out of places like France and Brazil that are really ta- king over the scene.”

This global blend of influences is something that exci- tes SOR as both a fan and an artist, as he continues to explore new sounds and collaborations.

Looking ahead, SOR is open to exploring genres be- yond his usual scope and collaborating with artists who challenge him creatively.

“I’m open to so many possibilities—I love working with artists who challenge me and bring something new to the table. I’m excited to collaborate with vocalists and musicians from genres outside my usual world, like La- tin, even hip-hop, and R&B.
