ABBRACCIARE IL VIAGGIO: UNO SGUARDO DA INSIDER NELLA VITA DI ROSSI.


In qualità di caporedattore di Mixmag Italia, sono entusiasta di tornare a parlare con l’unico e solo Rossi.


Ho toccato con mano l’artista che ha infiammato le piste da ballo di tutto il mondo con i suoi ritmi conta- giosi e i suoi paesaggi sonori innovativi, e ho fatto uno zoom sui suoi sviluppi attuali e sulle sue collaborazioni rivoluzionarie.


Per questo numero di aprile, alziamo il volume e ci immergiamo nell’evoluzione del suo percorso musicale.


Ma prima di lasciar cadere i bassi e perderci nei rit- mi, mettiamo in pausa per un momento e riavvolgiamo il nastro per saperne di più sull’intrigante passato di Rossi....


- RISCOPRIRE LE RADICI


Sapevate che prima di calcare le scene, Rossi aveva puntato sul palcoscenico come attore? Sì, avete letto bene. Dagli 8 ai 19 anni, Rossi. ha affinato le sue capacità nel campo della recitazione, affascinando il pubblico con le sue performance. Non sapeva che queste prime esperienze avrebbero gettato le basi per la sua carriera di DJ. L’arte di leggere la folla, di co- mandare il palcoscenico e di coinvolgere il pubblico sono state tutte abilità affinate durante il suo periodo sotto i riflettori. Oggi Rossi fonde perfettamente la sua abilità di attore con la sua finezza musicale.


“Prima di fare il DJ, facevo l’attore (alcuni lo sanno già), ma il mio obiettivo di sempre è stato quello di fare l’attore. Ho sempre avuto l’ossessione di esibirmi per la gente e mi diverte molto intrattenere, non so bene perché, ma mi è sempre piaciuto. Mi sono allenato e ho lavorato come attore tra gli 8 e i 19 anni e avevo grandi speranze. Ma lentamente, con l’avanzare dell’età, ho sviluppato una nuova ossessione... quella di fare il DJ e il produttore! Credo che gli strumenti che ho imparato recitando come attore mi abbiano aiutato molto nella mia carriera musicale. Ad esempio, come leggere la folla e adattare i set a seconda dell’umore o dell’ambiente di un club, come mantenere una buona presenza sul palco, entrare in contatto con il pubblico ed essere in grado di usare i social media comoda- mente in video quando si creano contenuti. Credo che tutto questo sia molto importante per coinvolgere le folle al giorno d’oggi che, ammettiamolo, hanno tempi di attenzione più brevi a causa del mondo in cui vivia- mo. Sono tutte cose che non avrei mai immaginato sarebbero state parte integrante del mio essere l’artista che sono oggi”.

But before we drop the bass and get lost in the beats, let’s hit pause for a moment and rewind to learn more about Rossi.’s intriguing past….


- REDISCOVERING ROOTS


Did you know that prior to gracing the decks, Rossi. had his sights set on the stage as an actor? Yes, you read that right. From the age of 8 to 19, Rossi. honed his skills in the realm of acting, captivating audiences with his performances. Little did he know, these early experiences would lay the foundation for his DJ career. The art of reading a crowd, commanding a stage, and engaging with an audience were all skills honed during his time in the spotlight. Fast forward to today, and Rossi. seamlessly blends his acting prowess with his musical finesse.


“Before being a DJ, I used to be an actor (some peo- ple already know this about me), but my lifelong goal was to be an actor. I always had an obsession with per- forming for people and I get a kick out of entertaining, not fully sure why, but I’ve always loved it. I trained and worked as an actor between the ages of 8 - 19 and had my hopes set on it. But slowly as I got older I developed a new obsession… which was DJing and producing! I believe the tools I learnt in performing as an actor have significantly helped me in my musical career. Things like, how to read a crowd and adapt sets depending on mood or the environment of a club, how to hold a good stage presence, connect with your audience, and be able to use social media comfortably on camera when making content. I believe all this is so important for engaging with crowds these days who, let’s face it, people are getting shorter attention spans because of the world we live in. These were all things that I never realized would be such an integral part of making me the artist I am today.”
