“My main goal with Lovegroove is to bring color and happy musical vibes to the young audiences again. Everyone has been into hard Techno lately, but I’ve noticed many times that people enjoy happy music more than they would expect. I want to promote House music within the young and queer crowds! I think the club scene in Belgium and internationally doesn’t have enough parties that are not all solely focussed on Techno music, but offer a wider range of genres to dance to.”
Fans can expect exciting collaborations and surprises from Lovegroove in the near future. While Dana won’t be attending ADE this year, they have planned something special in Amsterdam. The artist shares;
“We’re planning a few collaborations, for sure. We won’t attend ADE this year, but we have something very cute planned in Amsterdam and it’ll be worth coming out for!”
Dana Montana’s musical style encapsulates the very essence of the groove and party spirit that defined the 90s and early 00s. With a carefully curated selection of tracks coming from that era, they effortlessly establish a direct connection to the exhilarating and joyous celebrations that characterized that transformative time in music history. Their sets become a vibrant time capsule, transporting audiences back to an era of carefree euphoria and infectious beats, and this all with a modern twist.
“The part that I connect most with, is the emphasis on happiness and celebration! Most of the music that I play comes from the 90s and early 00s, so there is a pretty direct link to it.”
Introducing versatility into the club scene hasn’t been without its challenges for Dana. Despite their transition away
from Techno, they still find
themselves on Techno lineups due to previous associations. However, they surprise audiences with their happy, vocal-infused sets, often captivating even those who initially different.

“I am still being placed on Techno lineups quite often, while not really playing Techno anymore.
I can play
faster sets, but my music is still very happy and has lots of vocals in it. It’s often not what people expect from me, especially if they checked my older sets. Sometimes people go to another stage with harder music if my selection isn’t their thing, but very often I notice that people end up really enjoying the music that I play. It’s the biggest reward for me, to see people dancing with smiles on their no matter how big or small the crowd is!”
