Cindy Locklear for sharing of her knowledge of basket weaving at the Lumbee Tribe Culture Class and the Cumberland County Culture Class at Stoney Point in Hope Mills. The workshop demonstrated how to make a wood split basket, which may be used for gathering berries, carrying items or for carrying medicine. Some of the classes also dyed their baskets.
