8 Community Life

As we age, many of us could benefit from the support and convenience of a retirement community while still maintaining independence. Assisted living at Lake Gibson Village provides just that — an ideal combination of help when needed along with individual independence, to give confidence and peace of mind to our residents and their families.

Our thoughtfully designed residences, enjoyable amenities and personalized care foster greater fulfi llment and continued engagement in life.

For our Memory Care residents and families, we understand dementia can be overwhelming. Most importantly, we believe focusing on what remains is far more important than what is lost. We embrace and celebrate everything our residents do to promote physical and emotional well-being, support daily functioning and maintain a sense of accomplishment, dignity and quality of life.

Our Refl ections program highlights person-centered care, delivered by a full-time licensed nurse and care partners: Full time Memory Care Director and a team of Resident Care Partners. We are staff ed around the clock, 24 hours a day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care. As a result, this peace of mind gives back the control you lost when your loved one was diagnosed with memory loss. Most important, you can get back to being who your loved one wants and needs you to be: a daughter, a son, a grandchild or a spouse again.

In addition, the amenities provide you music therapy, physical therapy, primary care and holistic therapy, as well as, several more traditional counseling services.
