Hey BTG Family,
Happy New Year, senior living friends! It’s Josh and Lucas from Bridge the Gap: The Senior Living Podcast Network. We couldn’t be more excited to bring you the fifth issue of the BTG Magazine.
This issue is just another way for the Bridge the Gap Network to pursue its mission of educating, informing, and influencing the seniors housing industry. As we celebrate the upcoming episodes in the 2023 season, we would like to take a quick trip down memory lane with you.
We kicked off Spring 2022 at the Senior Living 100 Conference in Carlsbad, California, where Bridge the Gap was a proud media partner. Along with many other senior living influencers, we were inspired to bring change to the senior living industry at this exclusive executives’ conference.
Then, we headed down to Dallas for a boot-scootin’ good time at the BTG Dallas networking party. The Ellis Bullard Band brought a true Honky Tonk experience to Gilley’s Dallas, one of the premiere event locations in Dallas. Plus, senior living professionals displayed their vocal talent on- stage with live rock star karaoke band, Time Machine Band. And who could forget about America’s Sweethearts: the talented and iconic Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, who made the night an unforgettable one.
Just blocks away from Broadway, the historic Dream Hotel was the site of the 2022 VIP Ignite Experience: Dream Again in Music City, where industry leaders were inspired to Dream Again. Senior living pros from all over the country gathered in Nashville to experience intentional networking, good food, and live music at the FGL House, a Nashville staple. The 3-day VIP Ignite Experience was wrapped up with a remarkable keynote speech by Inky Johnson, who inspired attendees to Dream Again.
Next, we headed down to Orlando, Florida. The Bridge the Gap Network is a proud media sponsor of the Florida Senior Living Association, where we recorded episodes at the Engage 2022 Conference: Boldly Defining the Future of Senior Living.

Then, we spent some time in the nation’s capital at the NIC Fall Conference, along with thousands of senior living decision-makers. We recorded inspirational episodes in D.C. with industry thought leaders.
The Bridge the Gap Network has always been about the senior living industry, and the people in it. When it comes to creating content, we can’t do it all by ourselves and we look forward to inviting many of you to submit articles, thought leadership, conversations, and more in the variety of ways BTG produces content.
The industry continues to be impacted by individuals just like you and we are thankful for that. We would also like to recognize our sponsors Accushield, Connected Living, Hamilton CapTel, Referah, ServiceMaster, and Peak Senior Living, for their continued support of the Bridge the Gap Network and its mission to inform, educate, and influence the future of housing and services for seniors.
As always, we would love to hear your thoughts on this issue. Please send us an email at

Happy New Year!
