IF you have children, who like to make their own comics or write and illustrate their own stories, there is a free ' half term event at Clitheroe Library that you might want to b 00k them in for. ~ ■ It’s called “Story Machine” and is a fun creative writing ~ workshop aimed at youngsters aged six to 11. The hour- long session takes place at 11 am next Tuesday, February' 18th, and is then repeated at 2 pm a couple of days later on the Thursday.-


Under the guidance of library staff, children will listen to a story and then, taking inspiration from a story sack full


of props or using various art materials to draw, make a collage ora print picture and develop astoryoftheir own ~ for sharing with the group.
