Pendle Vale College is looking for someone who can make a large contribution to supporting learning through ICT. The post holder will be responsible for providing first line ICT support across the college with regard to the development of ICT provision and associated services such as Moodle, the Internet and Life Channel. In addition to these duties you will provide support for the sound and lighting systems for assemblies and other college events and provide basic technical back up for a range of computer hardware items. You will need to have experience of working with ICT programmes and applications. This is an exciting time for SafeSpace and supported accommodation for homeless young people in Pendle as we prepare to move into our new building.


The Trustees wish to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead the project and its team to build on its current excellent reputation of delivering high quality support to young people.


You will have an excellent understanding of youth homelessness and housing issues, along with experience of providing quality supported accommodation for young people. You must also possess an in depth understanding of quality standards in this field and compliance with Supporting People requirements. You will have the capacity for strong strategic and operational management skills, be well organised and a good communicator. You will have experience of project management, operating with a "hands on" approach throughout. The ideal candidate will have at least two years management experience in the housing/homelessness field.


The hours of work are 37 per week, including some evening and weekend work.
