At St Mary’s RC the church has been open each evening for Holy Week, however, the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services and Holy Sat­ urday vigil Mass will be held at St Michael and St John’s in Clitheroe. On Good Friday there will be Stations of the Cross at St Mary’s at 10 a.m. before the village service at the cross, but the Thursday evening Mass at 8 p.m., the 3 p.m. Good Friday Passion and the Saturday 9 p.m. vigil Mass will all be at Clitheroe. The Easter Sunday Mass will be at the usual time of 11 a.m. at St Mary’s.
