As one of the largest vehicle body repairers within the Ribble area, Janies Alpe Ltd has long held an enviable reputation for repairing and maintaining cars. Until 18
months ago the company also sold used cars from its base on Peel Street in Clitheroe. Sadly Richard Willett, the gentleman who ran the James Alpe Vehicle Sales operation, passed away around 18 months ago, and with the gathering recession dampening the demand for cars a decision was made to close the motor sales department down. Now however, car sales are back at James Alpe Ltd. Perrys Clitheroe closed down recently leaving a rather large gap in the local motor sales market. The dealership employed a popular sales team and for a moment it looked as if they would disappear from Clitheroe. On realising that there was an excellent opportunity to fill the void left by the recent closure, James Alpe recruited two of Perrys’ finest sales people to run the firm’s rejuvenated used car sales business which reopened recently.

Oliver Cross, 28, is in overall charge of James Alpe Vehicle Sales. He’s worked for Perrys for the last seven years and as Sales Manager at Clitheroe for the past two and a half years. The management offered him a senior position at the Group’s Nelson branch. However, Oliver saw the potential of the business and the terrific opportunity presented to him by James Alpe and so opted to stay in Clitheroe and join them. Oliver has been joined by his ex sales colleague, Jake Chadwick, who was employed by the company for five and a half years, the past four at the Clitheroe site. Both men have been bom and bred in Clitheroe and have worked in the town for much of their working lives. They’re well known, liked and trusted by car buyers in the area which makes them the perfect team to mn James Alpe’s ^^hicle Sales. In addition, another ex colleague, Charlotte Ronchetti, has joined the team line-up. Charlotte was a familiar face at the old dealership having worked on reception and on the dealer’s Service Plans. She is now the friendly face of James Alpe as service advisor and receptionist. James Alpe Vehicle Sales offers a fine mix of quality used cars and vans with an emphasis on value for money. The sales team’s close links with Peugeot means they can offer the best deals around along with strong ties with a host of other main manufacturers through the James Alpe group. Mercedes, VW, Ford, Audi, and many more makes can be supplied at outstanding prices enhancing the team’s commitment to quality cars at competitive prices. All cars come with minimum six-month warranty cover, a service and an MOT if required. Any paint or bodywork imperfections are taken care of in-house by the James Alpe bodyshop team and customers have the added security of all James Alpe’s vehicle services on hand at any time.

Cars can also be sourced for customers through the sales team’s many trusted indushy contacts taking into account their preferred make, model, specification and price range. Flexible and. competitive finance: facilities are available too. Oliver says: “Under Richard’s management, James Alpe Vehicle Sales gained an excellent reputation for delivering quality vehicles, value for money and excellent customer care. We are determined to continue in the same way and we’ll do our level best to live up to his high standards at all times.” Why not check out the stock currently being offered by visiting
