CLITHEROE Wolves . under 10s secured their first league title, having led the East Lancs Alliance Red League for al­ most the entire season. This was a fantastic achieve­


ment, particularly: as- .; the team lost their goalkeeper at Christmas, and the remaining squad members all took it in turn to help out the side,: by offering to take a stint in goal. Throughout the season; the


squad have played some fan­ tastic pa.ssing football, with no shortage of individual and col­ lective skill. - The team were unbeaten in


competitive league games all season, and lost only once in a cup tie they were very unfortu­ nate on the day not to win. Manager Dave Watson said:
