Johnston Press North West are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to work within a small marketing department based at the Lancashire Evening Post offices in Fulwood, Preston. The department supports the portfolio of local newspapers, websites and niche publications across the division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial sales teams in te'rms of creating presentations for potential clients, updating media packs and dealing with day to day enquiries. The position also involves administration tasks such as updating databases and monitoring competitor activity. You must be able to work to strict deadlines and possess good communication, administration and IT skills.
The Job would ideally suit a recent graduate with a marketing qualification and some office experience preferably within a marketing department.
The role is an entry level position with a salary circa £14,500 and you would be entitled to five weeks' holiday per annum plus statutory bank holidays. Other benefits include personal development, training and optional pension and share schemes.
