NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14{1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over over the entire length of Lancaster Drive, Clitheroe, for a distance of 200 metres, from its junction with Ennerdale Road to its junction .with Edisford Road, in the Borough of Ribble Valley.


An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is \ria:-


B6243 Edisford Road - Seedall Avenue - Henthom Road - Garnett Road.


Access to properties will be maintained, however there may be a restriction on which road access Is available from. The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed. The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow resurfadng work to be earned out.


Monday 8 March 2010 until 1500 hours on Friday 12 March 2010, or until completion of the works within this period. The closure will only be in operation between 0900 hours and 1500 hours daily.
