Ramblers enjoy two bridge walk

TW EN TY-ON E Clitheroe ramblers enjoyed a pleasant Wednesday evening walk in the Lower Hodder Valley. •The four-mile

walk, which was first described by the late Frank Parrott, is in cluded in the Ram blers’ book of walks in the Ribble and Hod der valleys. It begins at Higher Hodder: Bridge and follows the west side of the , river closely through beautiful wooded ar eas to Lower Hodder Bridge. The return on the

east side of the river goes through Moyser Wood, across green meadows and, after a short bit of road - walking, descends to the river, giving beautiful views.of KempIeEnd and the surrounding fells. -■-.Clitheroe. Ram--
