A SABDEN man has appeared in court facing a further charge of stealing cash from his employer, Blackburn with Darwen Bor­ ough Council. Paul Brian Haythornthwaite


(27), of Timbrirts Avenue, has already been committed to the crown court on charges of steal­


ing £311,627 from the council, attem p ted th e f t of electrical goods worth £44,586, obtaining services worth £1,200 from Fras­ er Eagle by deception, services worth £1,900 from Bury Van Hire and a second deception involving £390 from Fraser Eagle.


The latest charge says th a t


Haythornthwaite is accused of stealing £23,159 from the coun­ cil.


: The case was adjourned until


February 20th, when it will also be committed to the crown court. Haythornthwaite was again remanded on bail.
