Photoshop 7, proved a fascinating evening. Mr Norman Piper, from IBury, used a high- quality digital projector, coupled with a veiy compact, but high-capability computer. This allowed him to present a menu of possibilities,' so that the audience could steer the direction of the series of short talks and demonstra
tions. Most of . the normal darkroom effects could
be reproduced on the computer, for example, darkening the corners of the pictures and^ lightiening or darkening other parts.'Better ways .were shown for increasing sharpneM,'-
