NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be>to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding over that length of C578 Lowergate, Clitheroe, Ribble Valley, from its junction with U23005 Candlemakers Court to its junction with B6478 Moor Lane,


a length of 312 metres approx. The alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the


closure is as follows:- via C553 Wellgate/Shawbridge, A671 Waterloo Road/Cueensway and B6478 Whalley Road/Moor Lane.


Access to properties will be available at all times. The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed. The temporary closure is necessary to enable carriageway resurfacing work to be carried out.
