ELTEC, one of the driving forces for training and development in East Lancashire, has a vacancy in its Organisational Development team.


As a result of a career move there is a vacancy for a Childcare Adviser which offers an excellent opportunity for personal development.


The successful candidate will be required to promote Out of School Childcare, develop new childcare places, assist with funding applications and provide advice to existing clubs. The role will also involve representing ELTEC at working group and partnership meetings and preparing reports.


Candidates should be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, be a self-starter and stnve to achieve team targets. Experience of databases and spreadsheets is required. A genuine interest in childcare issues for the age range 0 - 1 4 would be an advantage.


A minimum salary of £14,000 will be paid to the successful applicant. This is a fixed term post to March 2001.
