A WELL-KNOWN West Bradford woman who was a stalwart member of St Catherine's Church in the village has died, aged 55, while staying with family in Brownlow S tre e t . Clitheroe. Miss Margaret Ann Tit-
terington, of Hazel Dene, was born and spent her childhood at Brocklehirst Farm, West Bradford. She attended Waddington and West Bradford Brimary School and Clitheroe Girls’ Grammar School. From there, she joined
the staff of the Midland Bank at Clitheroe. Miss Titterington later worked for the Midland in Pres ton, Lytham and Burnley, retiring four years ago, due to ill-health. An active member of St
Catherine's Church and a long-standing chorister,
Miss Titterington loved music. She was a member of Clitheroe Concerts Society and the first trea surer of Clitheroe Parish Church Organ Society. Through her work and
