not realise it, we are actually looking at descen­ dants of dinosaurs each morning as we watch the starlings or the blue tits, desperately searching for worms to fill their hungry stomachs. .


People think that the dinosaurs became extinct,


but it has actually been proven that the common garden bird evolved from the Tyrannosaurus Rex and is more closely related to dinosaurs than any
