COUNCILLORS are to see for themselves the site of a proposed extension to a Clitheroe home. Members of Kibble Valley Council’s Planning and
Development Committee agreed to defer a decision over an application to extend over a garage and build a new garage at Pagefield Crescent, Clith eroe, until after a site visit. They heard that two letters of objection had been
received and Coun. John Cowgill (Clitheroe) said that neighbours on both sides had great cause for concern. "There will be a loss of privacy to the rear garden of one property, from the balcony proposed. It is a contentious application when the property involved is on the market and advertised for sale.” The application seeks consent for a first-floor
domestic' extension over the existing flat-roofed garage, providing an additional bedroom with rear balcony, and the erection of a detached garage.
