H ARCRO S Timber & Building Supplies SATURDAY 30th JUNE from 10.00am to 4 .00pm

Consistent growth at the Burnley branch of Harcros Timber & Building Supplies, has led to a move from its original wharfside premises in Canal Yard to a prime site on Centenary Way.

Formerly Ribble Motors Garage, the 2.5 acre site has been re-designed to eliminate

yard congestion and provide easy access and ample parking. Under cover loading facilities, a large self-selection area, and in situ displays of kitchens, bathrooms, roof trusses, roofing tiles, bricks, paviors etc will enable builders to choose their purchases in comfort.

'A steady increase in business from both trade and retail customers and our on going policy of improving cus tomer facilities has led to our investment in the new depot,' explained Harcros Divisional Director, David Airey.

Managed by Brian Seddon ^'■t

and a 20-strong team, the depot stocks the full Harcros product range including tim ber, sheet materials, heavyside and lightside building materi als, doors, joinery and iron mongery. Its 14,000 square foot Showroom houses dis plays of Harems' exclusive kitchen ranges. Spring RAM kitchens, Armitage bathroom suites, doors and windows by John Carr Joinery. Other facili ties include on-site sawmilling, a 48 hour timber treatment service and guaranteed 24 hour free delivery on stock items.

Originally established in the

mid 20's by Thomas Ames & Son, the business was bought by the John Kay Group in 1962. The company changed its name to HARCROS in 1988 and added timber and sheet materials to the depots material stocks.
