—----— ----COURT HOME FOR THE

”W h e r e q u a l i t y c o u n t s ,

HERE at ROSEWOOD COURT we pride ourselves on our purpose-built retirement home complex. Our friendly, family-run business ensures a con

tent and happy environment for residents, whether they are permanent or just staying with us for a short while.

The word HOME is very important, because

that's exactly what it is — a home for each and every resident, whatever their requirements.

Our husband and wife owners Raymond and Ann

Tattersall have spent four and a half years building up a prestigious and lavish home, following our offi cial opening on July 4th 1986. And one of its most important attributes is that, wherever we go around the landscaped complex, we're all on one level.

Prospective residents and their families are more

than welcome to visit us and have a look around the spacious home, which we think is the only home in the country with two on-site wardens and a state registered nurse providing 24-hour cover, seven days a week. We do provide long-term and short-term stay,

whether it’s so that relations can have a break and go on holiday, or, perhaps, for a partner to be able to go into hospital, although there’s no obligation whatsoever. Here we are, welcoming two new residents to the

home, where they will have a month to settle in and see if they feel at home with us. It's your home as well, remember, and your visitors are more than welcome to come when they want.

We can arrange visits by your own doctor, as well,

as arrange regular visits from opticians, chiropo dists, dentists, hearing aid specialists and hair dressers, etc.

It is the little things which mean so much and

here at the home we have put light switches at hip level, so those with walking sticks and frames can easily switch them on and off. There are emergency alarm buttons in each bedroom, with a central control panel for all staff to see who needs help, and so they can be with residents within seconds from any part of the building.

Take our two medic baths, for instance, which are designed to tip and tilt in every conceivable direction to allow the minimum of fuss when the wheelchair-bound and infirm take a bath. They •also makes life much easier for care assistants who always personally supervise all baths. There are also separate bathrooms plus shower units for residents in spacious bathrooms designed to safety standards, and all with special "safety” flooring.

One of the unique features here, is our drugs

WE consider feeling completely at home is the most important aim for residents of ROSEWOOD COURT. Both single and double bedrooms are on offer, with many couples choosing the large double rooms with views across the complex. We encourage people to bring their own items of

furniture, easy chairs, ornaments and pictures to ensure they feel completely at home. All rooms have television aerial points and plenty of room to have the furniture how you want ft. If you have a double room and feel it’s perhaps a little large, we’ll

be happy to help you choose one o f the cosy single rooms which also have views of the land scaped gardens surrounding the home. Emergency call buttons are positioned next to

each bed for complete safety and to make residents — and of course their relations — feel safer and at ease.
