A FASCINATING publi cation giving an insight into life in Chipping in the 19th century has been pro duced by the village’s local history society. The magazine, which
takes the form of a census return booklet, is the third in a series of publications which have proved popular with local historians and residents alike. The latest edition covers

Fell, The Grove, The Core and Saunder Rake Bot toms for the years 1811, 1851, 1861, 1871 and 1881. The publication is illus
