A POLICE officer spotted a car being driven through Whalley without its head lights on in the early hours of the morning. When he stopped the
car, the policeman realised that the driver’s breath smelled of intoxicants. Jonathon Paul Gleave
(19), of Standen Road, Clitheroe, was found to have 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml. of breath, the legal limit being 35. He was fined £200 and
disqualified from driving for 12 months after admit ting the offence.
