company offers a complete design package for general home impr o v ement , extension, or complete house. Staff combine both detailed plan preparation for planning and Building Regulation applications, along with interior design facilities for those retain ing the existing charm of their own home.
All this work is submit
ted to the local authority for approval ready for any building work necessary to start.
High standard Detailed estimates are
given on a fixed price basis, to ensure that cli ents are aware of all costs prior to the start of any
, work. The next step would be
to find a suitable builder to carry out the work for you. Again, this is taken care of, as this work is also undertaken by the com pany should you so wish. Being members of the Federation of Master Builders, a high standard of work is achieved.
The firm moved into its
premises, the former Lada garage on the corner of St James’s Street and Caider Street, Burnley, in June of this year, and work imme diately began on renovat ing the building to suit the new owners’ needs.
The hard work of the
past few months has now paid off, as clients will be able to see at the grand opening of the premises on Tuesday (November 3rd).

Brett Cooper, a director
of the company, said: “A range of settees is dis played in various room settings to show what can be done within the home, and a customising service is provided for the client who wishes to have a spe cial style settee or suite made on their own idea.

are made to combine swags and tails, special pelmet details, Austrian and Festoon blinds, along with cushions and various other accessories. Clients need look no further for any home furnishings. Even if they only want a cushion to match an exist ing room setting, please call and see us. No item is too small.”

Christmas music date switch
THE Clitheroe Associa tion of Church Choirs has changed the day of a per formance in December due to a clash of dates. The association has announced that they were to perform Christmas music from Handal’s “Mes siah," together with carols to be sung by the choir and a u d i e n c e , on December 12th in Clith eroe Parish Church. Instead, it will be held

.on December 13th at 2-30 "p.m. in the church. Soloists will include
Sally Coates (soprano), who sang so magnificently in the recent performance of Mendelssohn’s “Elijah,” and the tenor soloist with be Colin Boardman, of Preston. Nigel Gaze, also of Preston, will be at the organ and Charles Myers, of Clitheroe, will conduct.
Recruitment pays off
A WHALLEY recruit ment drive by members of Clitheroe and District Chamber of Trade has
paid off. Vice-president Barry
Stevens and publicity officer Roland Hailwood met Whalley traders at their req ue st and explained the aims of the chamber. They report a surge of
interest with at least 20 traders expected to join. Mr Mike Bridgett is to
be Whalley co-ordinator and the total membership of the chamber, which is more than 60 years old, now stands at an all-time high of 230.
Car stolen
A PALE blue Ford Escort registration V738WHD was stolen from outside a house at Woone Lame, Clitheroe, on Monday night. The car had “1600 special” in red on the rear side panel. Clitheroe police are investigating.
