THE membership of Whalley Community Twinning Association has more than- doubled in the last 12 months. At the annual meeting, held at the Three Fishes Hotel, Mitton, chairman Mr


Eric Ronnan said he hoped to see a further increase in 1987. It is hoped that formal twinning will take place in Vihiers next August


and in Whalley during 1988. Membership now stands at 90 adults and children and seven groups. Mr Ronnan felt the year had been highly successful and he hoped that all
