Transport has agreed to the above Order remaining in lorce until February 28th, 1987, the effect ol which is to: (i) temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along that length of Greenacre Street, Clilheroe from its junction with the A671, Whalley Road West for approximately 50 metres; (ii) suspend the Lancashire County Council (Various Streets, Clitheroe) (Traffic Regulations) Order 1968 only insofar as it relates to the One Way Order affecting Greenacre Street, Clitheroe. The temporary closure is necessary to allow the construction ol a vertical shaft for a proposed sewer. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via A671 Whalley Road and Woone Lane. Access will be maintained at alt times to properties, St James's School and commercial premises in
