Fund buys new canoe trailer
A NEW canoe trailer for Clitheroe Scout and Guide Canoe Club has been pro vided from the Dr Gordon Hampson Memorial Fund. Dr Hampson. who died
in April, had been a life long member of the Scout ing movement and as the club was in urgent need of a new trailer to replace three old ones, £400 was provided from the fund. Club leader Mr Stephen

The club has organised the race to raise money for a purpose-built am bulance caravan for the Association of St John. Tickets at £1 each have been sold, each contain ing a number to match up with a plastic duck.
