CLITHEROE Co-op groc­ ers could get a £150,000 facelift later this year to move the store more up-, market. United Co-operatives,


which recently merged with the Blackburn Socie­ ty administering the Clitheroe stores, antici­ pates giving the Castle Street premises an old fashioned image. A spokesman for


United said that the food store would definitely be developed, but the dry goods section has still to be looked at. It is. unlikely that any


work will start for at least six months.
