‘Yes’ to radio mast
AN amateur radio en thusiast has been granted 12 months temporary planning permission to erect a 30ft. mast in his back garden. The application, by Mr

at Bingley. Due to increased expen
diture in maintaining Mary Sumner House, the
London headquarters, it had been suggested that the annual subscription be raised. Part of this goes towards the HQ building and part' towards Dioce
felt that the mast would not be an eyesore because of its location 35ft. from the house. He thought that a 12-
month permission should be granted during which time interference, if any, could be monitored.
