A BUS driver who worked for 42 years at the Clitheroe depot of Ribble Motor Services col­ lapsed and died at his home on Sunday. •

native of Chipping, who moved to Chaigley in the 1920s to work on the CWS farms. He retired through ill health in 1946 and in 1958 came to Clitheroe. He had lived in Bolland

A MOTORIST who col­ lided with another car at the junction of Primrose Road and Woone Lane, Clitheroe, was fined £200 and banned for two years for driving with excess al­ cohol in his blood.
