A DRINKING spree which lasted 12 hours resulted in a Clitheroe, man being fined m 5U lor assaulting an off-duty policeman. Gary Cotterill (22), of the way to the ■ police

in the chest and told: “Come on sunshine, let’s have you out of here.” He butted the officer only once — on the bridge of |
the nose. Cotterill had been very,
very drunk after a 12- hour drinking spree and now sincerely regretted the offence.
