Philip celebrates return to action


PLAYERS and officials cif the Ribblesdale League will be pleased that Clitheroe wicketkeeper Philip Hall has been able to return to action so quickly after his recent eye injury.


He was hurt in the


match at Padiham on June 20th and an early return had not then appeared likely. However, his medi­ cal advisers gave him the all-clear last week and on Saturday he turned out for Clitheroe 2nd in the junior derby at Whalley. He celebrated by taking five
