A WOMAN , who sang as a girl chorister in Pendleton Church choir at a memorial service for Queen Victoria in 1901, .Mrs; Ellen Glover died on Monday within a few weeks of her 91st


birthday. Mrs Glover was the last


surviving daughter of Mr and Mrs James Wood, who once farmed Pendle­ ton Hall • Farm.. She was born in Slaidburn and still retained vivid memories of the village at the turn of the century. She lived in Pendleton
