MEMORIES of her term as •Mayoress of Clitheroe were the subject of a talk by Mrs Alice Wells to members of the1 Good Companions’ Club. She brought along a selec tion of photographs to illus trate: a -most enjoyable account. Mrs Wells was also one of

Ellis and Miss M. Robinson. Recitations were given by Mrs Addison. Everyone joined in carols and old-time songs, with Mr J. Scott as compere. Mrs H. Woods was pianist. Tea was'served by members and this was followed by an exchange of parcels. The next meeting will be
